Autoedge was founded in 2017. The main line of activity is engineering/factory automation.

What is the company’s long and short-term vision? Where do you see your industry going in the next five years?

Our short-term vision is 3Ps i.e people, process, and products.

The company is on the hiring spree and looking to acquire good talent who will bring with them lots of ideas and spirit to overcome the challenges of a growing company.

Our long-term vision is to become an Rs.50 Cr in the next 5 years working on niche technologies with emphasis on the work culture and return on investment.

How did you get inspiration for the Company? How did you go about researching and validating the idea? 

My passion for new technological ideas drove me into getting into a business. A catalyst for this is the success of the people in life whom we admire.

Is the company funded? Are you open to funding?

No. The company isn’t funded and of course, we are open to funding.

How does the product work & What problems does it solve?

The products that we supply basically help in automating assembly lines and production processes.

In today’s scenario, there is a dearth of manpower everywhere, be it a domestic maid or a public servant in the PMO.

The situation is similar in most of the developing economies and by leveraging technology, automation helps us to overcome these challenges and achieve better productivity.

What are your USP and innovation? How are you different from others?

Our USP is a Unique Product Portfolio, Industry-Specific Automation Solutions, Cost-Effective & Tech-Driven end-to-end turnkey solutions.

What are some of your competitors & what advantage do you have over them? & Briefly explain your revenue model?

Some of our competitors are Rexroth BOSCH, Pari Automation, Vega Conveyors & Fine Automation.

The core team here at Autoedge has a collective experience of more than 75+ years in diverse industry verticals.

The company’s revenue is derived from the supply of goods and services.

Most of our customers are corporates and in most cases, the company gets an advance amount against purchase orders towards mobilization and this usually varies from 20% to 30%.

Another 60% payment will be disbursed against proforma before dispatch. The balance of 10% will be credited after commissioning the equipment. 

What difficulties did you encounter when you started the company & Were you impacted by the Covid outbreak?

Capital was one of the most important factor when starting the company.

The pandemic definitely put us under a lot of turbulence. 

What are your future plans & launches?

Going forward the company plans to have a facility of its own and have a pan India presence to cater to the growing demand of the industry.
